--Provide superior parts data support to both internal and external customers.
--Position will be responsible for interpreting complex engineering, manufacturing and production bills of materials and converting that information to an e-commerce acceptable format.
--Ability to read blueprints and truck/automotive parts catalogs.
--Understand an Engineering Bill of Material (Installation & Composite BOM) process.
--Capability to understand the New Part Set-up & Supplier Bill of Material (SBOM) process.
--Position will be responsible for creating, maintaining and enhancing catalog data content as it pertains to various product lines.
--Capability of researching other OEM and supplier websites, which include bills of materials to provide the most accurate parts data for catalog and e-commerce consumption
--Limited graphic design work to properly catalog images.
--Position will be asked to provide suggestions to department management for process and data improvements in order to continue superior customer service.
--Be able to respond to deadlines for content development.
--Strong in-depth knowledge of internal computer systems and software
--Comfortable and proficient in data manipulation using a variety of software tools; MS-Office, Adobe, Photoshop
--Ability to establish working relationships with various internal and external disciplines
--Ability to multi-task and change directions / priorities
--Self starter, focused , highly motivated and drives for results
--Independent decision making skills
--Sound communication skills (both written and verbal)
--Demonstrated ability to interpret various bills of materials, blue prints and parts catalogs
Hours Per Week: 32-40
M-F 8am-5pm (flexible)
-- Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of product content development experience in a related field
-- Proficient mechanical aptitude and parts knowledge
-- At least 2 year of operations experience in automotive or heavy duty truck parts
-- At least 1 year of customer service experience
Skilled specialist with formalized training or seasoned experience who functions with a high degree of independence. Responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and analyzing complex service parts related data for all International product lines in order to answer a broad range of inquires from engineering, suppliers, technical publication services and customers (both internal and external). Interface with customers (both internal and external) to review aftermarket catalog data for possible enhancements.
